It's been a while

It's been a while since I last posted something. I have been busy with Katie and the neighborhood kids since school has been out. There are always kids at our house and usually the waterhose is involved. I don't even want to know what our water bill is going to be this month.

The other thing that has been keeping me busy is my Mother's Day gift. Damien and the kiddos got me Photoshop Elements 6.0. I am still learning all the ins and outs, but what I know already can turn an OK pic into a great pic.

This is the straight out of the camera shot. I think it looks a little dull.

Here is the Photoshopped version. I think the color and contrast is better. The eyes "pop" a little more, too.

I am going to try to stamp a little tonight. I got some clear pop-up boxes that are great for stationary and I have been itching to do something with them. Hopefully I will have another post for tomorrow.
