Inspired by Karen B Barber

I needed a good wedding set and I fell in love with "To Have and To Hold" in the 2008 Spring/Summer SU! catty. So the first thing I did when I got it was surf the SCS galleries and found THIS card by Karen Barber. I loved how she made the dress sparkle and lets face it, if I can find a way to put glitter on something I will.

I used a Basic Black base for the card. Then layered it with silver and whisper white. I know I'm bad, but I loved the color of this textured paper that isn't SU. I think it came from Hobby Lobby in one of those multi-packs. Anyway, I used my 2-way glue pen and ran it all over her dress and then dipped it in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Hands down, this is my most favorite glitter, evah! The tux is cated in Crystal Effects, too.

I added some rhinestones for extra sparkle on the scallops and photo corner. I used some 7/8" white organdy ribbon and layered it with some black and white polka dotted ribbon. In the end, I'm thinking that if I knew anyone that rode a Harley and was getting married, this would be the card for them. Karen's was much more elegant. LOL
