I told you I loved this set. I took the same idea for the bride as from my last card, but used it for one of the gift card holders. I just love the dress dripped in glitter. And his tux looks fancy with the crystal effects, too. I used he Marvy Giga scallop punch and the Jumbo Oval to layer the Bride and Groom. I used the tiniest rhinestones that I could find to put on the scallops. The gift card holder base is Pretty in Pink and I faux stitched the edges. I really need a sewing machine, brcause I think real stitching looks better. The patterened paper is My Mind's Eye that I got in a slab from Costco. The scallop is Rose Red.
I glittered the "to have and to hold" banner, too. I ran it thru my Xyron to make it sticky and then dipped it in dazzlig diamonds. I can't remember where I saw the idea of making it look like a banner, but I saw it on someone else's blog.I liked the idea of making it a gift card holder because that's usually what I end up getting the bride. I know it isn't a very personal gift, but I liked getting them when I was a bride. There was always that last little thing that I need to finish the bathroom or to decorate the kitchen. I say any gift is an appreciated gift. Thanks for looking.
